Gaskets—also known as “O-Rings”—are circular-shaped hardware that are used to form a compressed mechanical seal (which keeps connections from leaking), and are widely used in pools, spas, and their supporting equipment. Yours probably has 50 to 100 of them!
The reality is that, with tens of thousands of choices in the O-ring world—and with variables like sealing pressure, lubrication requirements, chemical compatibility, quantity, quality, and cost—it’s best to ask an expert.
